Okanagan Ice Breaker Tournament
Welcome to the Okanagan Valley
Lake Country Youth Soccer Association is proud to present the 14th annual Okanagan Ice Breaker Tournament in Lake Country and Kelowna, on the Easter weekend, April 14-16, 2017. Games start at 8 AM on Friday, and the last games will finish by 6 PM Sunday.
This year's Tournament will offer U11, U12, U13, U14, U15 and U16 age groups for both boys and girls at team league levels above house. We do our best to maintain age groups, however sometimes due to low registration numbers in one age group or another, we sometimes have to combine two age groups together depending on registration numbers.
This experience provides a great way to kick off the outdoor season for many teams from Western Canada and the USA. All teams are guaranteed at least 3 games over the weekend. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams in the age groups U13-U16.
Standings for Under 12 will not be posted on the website, as per BC Soccer Rule 23 in Small Sided Games.
Lake Country is nestled in the Okanagan Valley between Kelowna and Vernon, it is a quiet community of 11,000 people. We are surrounded by Okanagan Lake, Kalamalka Lake, Wood Lake and Duck Lake; as well as many smaller hidden lakes in the eastern hills. We have golfing, hiking and walking trails, wineries and the best Soccer Facility in the Valley, Beasley Park.
